Yes. Years ago it was a problem because the caulking wouldn’t perform in cold weather. Now we have caulking that work in temperatures as low as -60. Installing on a nice winter day is no problem. If it’s too cold we simply reschedule for a nicer day.
Window installation times will vary depending on the size of the house, the number of windows and type of windows. Most jobs are completed within 1-2 days.
Our windows are manufactured in Winnipeg by Humphrey Windows. Humphrey is a Canadian company with over 60 years of manufacturing experience. Every window is custom made and made for our prairie winters.
Yes, we went the Humphrey Factory in Winnipeg to help design our doors for our harsh prairie winters. They have a custom double weather stripping to eliminate drafts, they are custom, reinforced fibreglass doors and frames so they are energy efficient and ultra secure.
